Handpicked Books & Where to Find Them

If there's one thing I've collected over my years of teaching, it's children's books—and lots of them!

I've always had a love for children's literature. There's just something magical about opening a book and watching little faces light up as a story comes to life. Whether it's a silly story that gets everyone giggling, a book that sparks a meaningful conversation, or one that leaves children asking a hundred questions, I've always believed that books are one of the most valuable things we can bring into a classroom.

Over the years, I've slowly built my own little classroom library, filled with books for just about every theme, season, holiday, and topic you can imagine. Some were carefully picked out for a lesson, others were discovered by chance, and a few have been read so many times that they're practically falling apart. But each one has found its place on my shelves for a reason.

And if you know me, you know I can never pass up a good children's book!

As I've started sharing more of what happens inside my classroom through Tiny Minds Matter, I thought, why not share my love of books too?

So that's what this little corner of my blog is all about.

A place to share my favorites!

I've organized my book recommendations by theme, just like I organize my classroom library. From apples and pumpkins to friendship, feelings, dinosaurs, and everything in between, I'll be sharing books I've collected, loved, and used throughout my teaching journey.

Some are classroom favorites that my students request year after year. Others are hidden gems I've stumbled upon along the way.

My hope is to make it a little easier for fellow teachers, parents, and anyone who loves children's books to discover a new favorite without having to search through endless titles.

Eventually, I'd love to include links to help you find these books for your own classroom or home library. But for now, this is simply a place to share something I truly love.

Because in my opinion, you can never have too many children's books, only not enough bookshelves!

Happy Reading!
